Are Windstar Cruises Suitable For Kids

Windstar’s 180-degree departure from the typical cruise experience encourages leisure. The ship design, combined with a Luxury As You Like It aboard environment, and pampering without pretense attitude, make up the casually elegant design.

Windstar cruises reviews are mixed because people cannot have the same experience on board. From these reviews, I am writing about Windstar Cruises whether these cruises are suitable for kids or not.

Design

Each ship will provide you with the small ship advantage, with a functional and pleasurable design, whether it has gorgeous, billowing sails or is a sleek and sensuous all-suite motor ship.

There are places that are open to the public and places that are closed to the public. There is a lot of light and air, and there are ocean vistas everywhere. Staterooms and suites are both simple and luxuriously equipped.

A welcoming layout that is simple to navigate. The natural fabrics and rich timbers have been meticulously preserved. Like your own private yacht, these comfortable and sophisticated ships are large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to snuggle into wonderful tiny harbors and secluded coves that others can’t reach.

Unrestricted access to the environment. Unstructured. Giving you the option of having as much solitude as you want or being pampered. Make your experience as inclusive – or as exclusive – as you want it to be.

Add flights, hotels (pre/post-cruise), shore excursions, drinks packages, and other onboard luxuries to personalize your experience. When you need it, service that is attentive. A friendly, cheerful workforce that takes the time to learn about your preferences.

For your visit, the Bridge is almost always open. Many activities are available, yet they are never forced upon you.

The Dress Code

Guests are free to dress as they like between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the exception of swimwear in all public lounges and restaurants and apparel with objectionable language or images that detract from others’ comfort and well-being.

The standard shipboard attire is stylish but easygoing, with jeans and Bermuda/walking shorts being popular choices.

Dining

After 6 p.m., the dress code is country clubwear at Amphora, Stella Bistro, and Cuadro 44 by Anthony Sasso. Nice slacks, polo shirts, button-down shirts, and shoes other than athletic shoes are appropriate for guys.

Designer denim jeans with no rips or holes, as well as multi-colored denim jeans, are also appropriate. Sport jackets are not required. Ties aren’t required. For ladies, nice slacks, skirts, shirts, casual dresses, sundresses, nice sandals or casual shoes, and designer denim dress jeans that aren’t ripped, multicolored, or have holes are OK. Blazers are not required.

No Assigned Sittings

Amphora and Veranda restaurants do not have assigned seating. What could be more laid-back than signing for onboard purchases? You’ll feel as if this is your own ship, your own private yacht. The attitude is influenced by the environment. Candles require reservations, which may be done on board.

Casually Elegant is a mindset influenced by a luxurious ship design and a relaxed atmosphere allowing you to unwind and enjoy your holiday the way you choose.

They are efficient in an understated, casual way. They treat guests with respect and pampering without pretense. Flexible. Approachable. And they’re well-versed in getting to know individuals and the importance of service in making your trip a success.

A Windstar ship’s “Luxury As You Like It” attitude is mirrored in the way passengers dress: Imaginative, but not overly so. It’s stylish, but it’s also really comfortable. As though you were going to a high-end resort.

Light and airy clothing composed of natural textiles such as cotton, silk, and linen are ideal. We recommend walking shorts, skirts, sarongs, lightweight blouses, and cover-ups for daytime wear, and sundresses, slacks, and informal cocktail clothing for nighttime wear. Walking/ Bermuda shorts, polo shirts, and khaki pants for men during the day; lightweight trousers and short-sleeved dress/polo shirts for men in the evening.

There will be no ties or suits. During the evening, no shorts, flip-flops, ripped or torn trousers, caps, or t-shirts are permitted in Amphora or Candles. If your cruise brings you to Monte Carlo, keep in mind that men must wear a tie and a jacket at the casinos.

Children

Windstar Cruises does not accept children under the age of eight (8). Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in their stateroom or suite by a parent, guardian, or chaperone who is at least twenty-five years old; one adult chaperone (aged25 or older) is needed for every five people beneath the age of twenty-one.
